Chris Brown arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after some hours stand-off with police (Pics)

Chris Brown has been arrested at his home following a tense 11-hour stand-off with police, 
The Los Angeles Police said the singer was held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
LAPD Lieutenant Chris Ramirez said:

 "He is being transported to robbery homicide, where he will be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon."

Ramirez declined to elaborate on the charges against Brown, saying that the investigation was still under way.

Officers surrounded the singer's home on Tuesday following a pre-dawn 911 call from a woman - later named as beauty queen Baylee Curran - who claimed he had pointed a gun at her.
He took to instagram in several posts to rant ,declaring his innocence.He also said they had to produce a warrant, which they eventually did.
